Our client, Currywise, is an Indian restaurant functioning in Australia. Currywise partnered with Artojar for designing a menu card for their food restaurant. We came forward with appealing designs and strategic alignment of their delicacies. Acknowledging the fact that Currywise serves Indian cuisine abroad, we curated simple, intuitive yet precise menu design for easy accessibility to both migrant Indians and local Australian folks. Our design also aimed at visual representation of cuisines for a mouthwatering user experience.
Artojar designed a menu for Currywise which was purpose-driven and engaging. The purpose was to target both locals and immigrants to become their everlasting customers. In order to impactfully present our work, we minorly played with the existing colour scheme yet outlined the authenticity of Indian cuisine through vibrant and tempting images. We highlighted their prime categories vertically on every page with stylish and bold fonts while keeping the secondary cuisine names simple and sweet. We effectively wanted to convey their authenticity by maintaining the existing branding themes without drastically introducing anything new.
Our vision was to showcase the Indian dishes in a western design form in order to attract both the races. Our design team kept the menu straightforward and pleasing at the same time. We introduced a few design elements to curate a classy menu card with a varied price list provided to us by Currywise. Our work was however able to attract new business for the brand through word of mouth as both Indians and Australians were able to capture the required details and of course the taste worked its magic.
